Beyond Microsoft

On the Ubuntu forums:
_ Beyond Microsoft: an article explaining the need for alternatives

Digital Slavery: Why being anti-Microsoft is about more than geek chic
Humanistic: Computers as renascence tools
Political: A cry against digital imperialism
Economic: An appeal to the wallet

A pretty good read, although I can hear the pro-MSFT people baying at the door now ;-)
Bottom line is, do you wanna be locked in? or do you wanna be able to do what you wanna do?
And before you MSFT people start advocating the benefits of Windows (and I’ve been a Windows user for 10 years now, so I know them myself) and associated MSFT products, just try it – open your mind ;-)
