_ InternAfrica » Mission Statement

InternAfrica is a Not-for-profit organisation which has been created to ensure Africans the right to dignity and adequate housing through the secure ecologically sustainable development and use of natural resources, while promoting justifiable economic and social development.

Our goal is to uplift communities both rural and urban, through hands-on do-it-yourself approach.

More on housing in South Africa – respect that more (South) Africans are getting online and talking about what they’re doing…

Having an online presence works well for InternAfrica and we hope that it will inform people and affect the rate of change of housing delivery in South Africa.

Open Source is truely a blessing, especially WordPress :)

I have started an open source accounting package on SourceForge, that InternAfrica will use as a business tool. The library is writing in c# and contains NUnit tests. It uses a msSQL database and NHibernate Object-Relational Mapping. The core double entry ledger system is complete but i am still writing the ASP.NET front end. the sourceforge project location is here :… The project is still in development…. Hopefully it should be ready to use in the next two weeks :)
