_ City guides, lifestyle directory and complimentary concierge services from Stylebible.

StyleBible is the insider guide to exclusive fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle establishments across the style capitals of the world. London & New York are our two current cities, however we’ll be adding more cities until there’s no stylish place on the planet we haven’t given the once-over.

Boutique hotels, funky night spots, hip multi label boutiques & relaxing retreats are just the tip of the iceberg. With StyleBible there’s no need to lug around a cumbersome guidebook, simply create your own personalised notebook online, print it out and slip it into your handbag or download it to a PDA.

Style with a digital twist, served on the rocks…

I liked this:

Why can’t I just use Google?
Google only provides links to other web sites that won’t provide you with independent personalised reviews from a single source encompassing our target sector. Equally important, you could spend hours looking for information that is available on Stylebible in seconds. You save a lot money with the negotiated special offers for Stylebible subscribers, offers you wouldn’t find on Google.

= stylish vertical portal… ;-)

Didn’t the founder of Stylebible.com appear on Dragon’s den? If I remember rightly, they didn’t give her idea too warm a reception – but what do they know…

I’ll check it out.

Yea, she did…

My take is that I wouldn’t want any of them to invest in a web / tech / web content investment anyways – except maybe for the American guy who seems to be pretty savvy (if not a little tight and pretty narrow in his requirements) – mainly because although they have business knowledge and experience, I doubt any of them are up to date with what’s going on at the moment… and therefore aware of the opportunity starting to open up around vertical content / search and directories…
