Blogger/Web2.0 Mixer Redux (No.2)

by oneafrikan on September 7, 2006

I’ve been totally remiss this last week or two. Coming back from holiday with dodgy belly and flu really threw me off guard, so much so that I reckon I’m only today getting back into the full swing of things workwise. The casualties of which have been mainly personal email and blogging. Anyways, blah blah…

Onto being remiss – the last Geek BBQ that I hosted I had a great chat with Roger Kondrat about many things, one of which was the blogger / web 2.0 event that he’s organising – sounds like it’s going to be a blast and I’m really looking forward to it! Would be really cool to see you there if you’re in London!

So, without further ado, here are the details for you, from his site:

When:
Monday, 11 September 2006 PM 07:30 to PM 11:00 BST

Where:
All bar one
36-38 Dean Street, Soho
London, United Kingdom
W1D 4PS

What:
You have just been invited to Web2.0/Blogger Mixer Redux.

If you haven’t heard Technological Winter has been planning a casual/semi-formal invite only event where Bloggers and Web 2.0 entrepreneurs in London can get together and discuss different ideas and generally just have a good time with their peers.

I believe it would be a great opportunity for bloggers, PR/marketing, and social media professionals to connect and learn from each other. This is going to be an invitation only event and I would like you to be a part of it.

For an Invite/Evite contact Roger at – event(at)rogerkondrat(dot)com

*Also to help make this event even better I need everyone to spread the word so I encourage everyone to promote the event in their own way e.g. blog about the event, link to it, or email a few mates/peers/colleagues about it. There is no profit in this event for me so you are not helping me get any richer. I don’t even make any adsense money ;)

Cost:
It was free last time and it shall remain a free event.

Cool – seeya then ;-)
