Get Firefox to do NTLM is a great little trick for Sharepoint users - basically allows you to log automatically, which makes it easy peasy.
My only issue is that the UI Sharepoint displays, using Firefox, is not as good as when using IE - there seem to be some DHTML tricks which are specific to IE, which is fair enough I spose, but not ideal.
So, I end up using IE for our office intranet, and Firefox for everything else ![]()

Or, alternatively, you can install the “IE View” extension for firefox and view individual tabs with IE in the firefox browser.

Thanks Alex - came accross this recently and have been using it since - works well!
It works only on Firefox on Windows platform. No value for other platforms.
To use MS sharepoint even in FF:

Please have a look at this worthy open source competitor of MS sharepoint. Free download and use up to 10 users.

I really hate the abuse of dominant position of Microsoft, and its quick releasing products engulfing computer resources and crashing frequently (see Vista).
I found stupid and incoherent to release a system such as MS sharepoint, which could benefit of web 2.0 experiences, and let such applications be browser dependent!
Thanks again to Firefox community, solving quickly every needs expressed by the community and forces users.
Thanks Luigi
Will check that out!
