I’m wondering how many South African blogs there are in circulation? By South African I mean by a South African person or entity, or on a topic relating to South Africa.
Anyone have any ideas? Anyone know of any South African blog listings?

hi gareth, not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but two friends of mine recently started indie-publishing-type* blogs (although their topics are not za-focussed)
The Schpat Dope is inspired by Uncle Cecil’s Straight Dope
ask zenstar is an agony aunt column for roleplayers, who have a small but thriving community in za, and cape town in particular
I know that zenstar has registered on BlogExplosion, and it looks like you can query for South African blogs there
* rather than personal-diary-type
