I’ve been doing a bit of reading on diet, nutrition, calories, metabolism etc etc, towards my goal of getting fitter, and I found this very interesting:

MICHAEL PHELPS’ DIET
Breakfast: Three fried egg sandwiches; cheese; tomatoes; lettuce; fried onions; mayonnaise; three chocolate-chip pancakes; five-egg omelette; three sugar-coated slices of French toast; bowl of grits; two cups of coffee
Lunch: Half-kilogram (one pound) of enriched pasta; two large ham and cheese sandwiches with mayonnaise on white bread; energy drinks
Dinner: Half-kilogram of pasta, with carbonara sauce; large pizza; energy drinks

    He eats a large pizza for dinner? Well it’s obvious that eating that coupled with the mounds of pasta that he definitely works it off. I mean after all we’re talking about the best swimmer of modern time here. He may not be the best actor, but he sure is an elite athlete!

    I think he has just as good a work-out plan to look the way he does :)
